Using Tune - AI Vocal Pitch Correction

Our Tune feature utilizes state-of-the-art neural pitch analysis, providing the most accurate tuning of your vocals. Tune can be used in two ways:

  1. As a standalone tool for tuning your own vocals (does not require credits!).
  2. As part of the transformation process when working with our AI voice models.

Tune (Standalone)

The standalone Tune page is designed for users who want to apply pitch correction to their own vocals without using an AI voice model.

How to Use It

  1. Navigate to Tune on the dashboard.
  2. Select your Input Vocal file.
  3. Choose your scale settings:
    • If you know the key, select from the available scales, then choose the specific key from the dropdown menu that appears.
    • If you're unsure of your song's key, leave it set to Chromatic. Please note, you'll likely get a better result when selecting a specific key.
  4. Adjust the Tune Strength:
    • Measured in milliseconds, this setting determines how quickly pitch correction is applied. Move the slider toward Extreme for a heavily auto-tuned effect. Experiment between Strong and Subtle for a more natural correction.
  5. Hit Tune Vocal to process your tune. Your result will be in the Output Audio section.

Tune Control in the Transform Page

When working with our AI voice models, you'll find the Tune control within the Transform Page window. This lets you apply pitch correction to your AI-transformed vocals.

Steps to Apply Tune

  1. Select your AI voice model and adjust other transformation settings.
  5. Hit Generate to process your transformation with the selected tune settings. Your result will be in the Output Audio section.

Pro Tips

  • For a more natural sound, start with subtle settings and increase the strength until you achieve the sound you want.
  • The Chromatic setting works well for complex melodies or songs with key changes.
  • For pop and hip-hop, stronger settings create a modern sound.
  • For acoustic or traditional performances, gentler settings maintain a more natural feel.
  • Trust your ears - the perfect setting is the one that sounds right for your track!
