Crediting Voice Models: Why and How
When you create amazing music using our AI voice models, we encourage you to credit the voice model used in your release. While this isn't a legal requirement under our royalty-free model, it's an important way you can support the talented artists who've contributed their voices to our platform, and we believe can have huge benefits for you as well.
Why Credit Voice Models?
- Support Our Artists: Our singers receive royalties from subscription revenues when their voice models are used. Crediting them helps increase their visibility and supports their careers.
- Build Community: Proper crediting helps create a transparent and supportive music-making community.
- Easy Discovery: When listeners can identify voice models, it helps other creators discover voices that might work for their own projects.
- Exposure: By featuring our voice models on your songs, you will be adding your song to their body of work on streaming platforms, which may in turn trigger algorithmic plays for your song.
How to Credit Voice Models
For Streaming Platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.):
- Include the voice model in your track's credits section. Depending on your usage, either credit as a "Featured Artist" or "Main Artist"
- Recommended credit: [Voice Model Name]
For Physical Releases:
- Include the voice model credit in your liner notes or CD booklet
- Use the same format as streaming platforms
Note: No credit is required for sync music or library tracks.
By taking a moment to properly credit our voice models, you're helping support the artists who make our platform possible and contributing to a more collaborative music community.
